Emilie has a keen interest in botany and native plants  She sees the character in plants and chooses subjects that “speak” to her.  She seeks to accurately depict plant materials and also create unique works of art. Emilie studied with the Mary L Harden School of Botanical Illustration and received a Master of Botanical Illustration.  She works in graphite, pen and ink and watercolor.
