Brenda Purchio is a retired  teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. Studying drawing and watercolor painting with Mary Harden has revealed to her the elegant world of plants.  

Using a palette of only 21 colors; none of which are green, has been a challenge and an inspiration.  She received her Master Artist Certificate in Botanical Illustration in 2017.  

Brenda has always loved being outdoors; bicycling, hiking and skiing. She now enjoys having time to pursue her love of art with nature.
